I like this one a lot.
Has the energy kind of like, a sombre, otherwordly majesty.
Hope you're keeping on, old friend.

ForgottenDawn responds:

Much appreciated, man. It's nice to hear from you :)

My kind of vibrations.
The kind of vibes that makes me think, and make me remember.
Makes ya feel.
Good stuff.

ForgottenDawn responds:

Thanks, man. Good to hear from you. c:

You've left me with my jaw gaping. Mad, MAD respect. So glad I decided to listen to this with my good headphones too, it was well worth it. My mind is blown. The scene that song just made me envision was amazing. I'm lost for words.

Well done, sir.

EvilRaccoon responds:

Thank you! @Maccamuffin

I've been waiting for a track like this from you for a while now. I've heard lots of soothing ambience in many of your tracks, but have always wanted one that consisted of just that. It's really great. It's funny that I've been looking for an ambience track in the context of exactly what you stated in your description for an interactive project, and here you are, "again", providing me with exactly what I need and more (granted that this is okay to use). Kudos man, kudos indeed. Keep on doing what you're doing.

ForgottenDawn responds:

Sure mate, keep me updated on your works as well! Thanks for your review :)

This is a review I've only just thought to write after a good long few months of listening to this track almost every day.

This track grew on me. Like it really grew on me. I remember listening to it at first and thinking "yeah this is pretty neat", and at the time I thought to myself that the guitar came on a little too strong. I remember wanting the vibe to stay consistent throughout the whole song and the guitar had annoyed me just a little bit. But I came back a few months "after" that first listening, listened to it again, and thought wow I actually love it just the way it is. I imagined, and still imagine and build on a very specific scene that involves one of my character's out-pour of his emotions and bottled feelings about something in his past. When I do end up making that, maybe in, I dunno, a few decades later, I can't imagine any other track setting up the mood of that scene better than this one. Out of all your work, this one has to be a personal favourite of mine.... so far. :P

Keep up the great work man, don't stop!

Thanks mate, I'm really glad you appreciate the track so much :)
I have some really great plans for the future that I'm hopefully going to commit myself into. I often see all the pieces I've composed so far as puzzle pieces of a huge, bigger picture. They're reminders that this is what I want to do.
Good to see you again mate, be well and don't stop as well :)

This song is intriguing. It actually reminds me of a virtual reality 3D artwork I went and experienced at the National Gallery of Victoria in Australia. Your overall vibe is very cool, a kind of "intriguing" electronic ambience. I'm not sure how else to describe it, and I really have no idea where to start on critique other than just I very much enjoyed it. The only thing that pops to mind is that I feel like it's much more a new take on some of your older works than a simple revisit, which I think is a good thing. It's funny you mention your older work, because though I love your Moontears Suite, I find myself very often listening to Plaenitude. The overall vibe of that piece is something I fell in love with actually a few months after the first time I listened to it. I think a revisit on that track in the same way you've done on this would be great to listen to and something cool for you to experiment with. Look up Jess Johnson, Wurm Haus at the NGV, that's the environment I imagine this track on.

Keep up the good work!

ForgottenDawn responds:

Hey, thank you so much! I'm gonna look that up for sure.
To quote a friend of mine it's "kind of a mash" of everything I've done so far while experimenting on a different route. It's always fun to bring old and new together from a renewed perspective. :)
Thanks again!

Amazing track! You've made all these images of epic battles fly everywhere around my head.

EvilRaccoon responds:

Thanks very much! :D

Woaaaahhh. This is absolutely epic, really paints the image in my head of a massive and powerful monster that comes out of nowhere and takes everyone off guard. Kudos man! Only thing I could say in terms of criticism was I thought the VERY beginning was a little soft in comparison to the rest of the composition, cause I turned up my volume to match it before getting my ears blasted in the next few seconds xD Not a huge issue though, really enjoyed your work man :)

LunyAlex responds:

Noted the feedback and appreciate the kind words.

I'm 4 years late but better late then never?

I really love it. This gets me all the good vibes.

Enzer0 responds:

it's a track to really chill out to. Great for car journeys where the sun pierces through the windscreen.

When I listen to this, I imagine two broken friends confronting one another and eventually coming to terms with conflicts in the past. They don't necessarily forgive one another right then, but they remind each other of the times they had together before the conflict, and consider the possibility to work together and create a brighter world. Music that puts a scene in my head really gets me going.

Keep it up, I really like it :)

Enzer0 responds:

It makes me happy that you can visualize something like that to my music. Thanks for your input, and an insight into your creativity!

Glad you enjoyed it.

Hi there! I'm Macca and I am very tasty.
